Shams El Balad is a grassroots cafe that celebrates local craft, produce and culture. We are one of Amman's first farm to table outlets, integrated into a co-working and exhibition space. Enjoy local delicacies using only the freshest, organic, seasonal ingredients, directly sourced Yemeni coffee and a variety of handcrafted tea blends. Breathe in our smoke-free environment, or smoke away on our terrace overlooking the Citadel and Ummayad Palace. We do not sell any bottled water, filtered water is free for all of our customers.
