SUMMER at KING’S ACADEMY in 2015 once again features fun, excitement and learning through a wide range of academic and athletic programs for both boarding and day students. From late June through July, students, youngsters and athletes from Jordan and the rest of the world will come to the beautiful and spacious King’s Academy campus in Madaba, Jordan to improve their skills in the classroom, the laboratory or on the playing fields.

All SUMMER at KING’S ACADEMY programs reflect the school’s commitment to excellence and its reputation as one of the leading educational institutions in the Middle East.
- i2 Camp: For the science-minded youngster, aged 11 to 15, an exciting science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) camp features one-week courses developed by some of the most prestigious and important leaders in the field, including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), NASA, Columbia University, the New York Academy of Sciences and the Boston Museum of Science.
- Arabic, English, Math: Students aged 12 to 16 who are interested in improving their skills in these areas can participate in four-week academic programs taught by King’s Academy faculty.
- SAT Prep: Older students seeking to improve knowledge and skills necessary for scoring well on the SAT exam can participate in test prep courses developed and taught by experienced King’s Academy faculty.
- Sports and Recreation: For children aged six to 12, King’s offers many options for excellent training and competition or for just having fun playing and learning a new sport.

During Ramadan
Traditions and practices at King’s Academy reflect its setting in the heart of the Muslim world, so observance of Ramadan occurs naturally for the faculty and staff. SUMMER at KING’S ACADEMY will alter its regular daily schedule and provide appropriate meals to accommodate students who are observing Ramadan, which in 2015 will overlap with the program. A pre-dawn suhoor meal will be served, along with an iftar meal after sundown. For non-fasting students, regular breakfast and lunch will be served.

يعود البرنامج الصّيفي في كينغز أكاديمي هذا العام 2015 بكلّ مزاياه الّتي تضمّنها برنامج العام الماضي من أوقات ملأى بالفرح والإثارة والتعلّم من خلال مجموعة واسعة من البرامج الأكاديميّة والرّياضيّة الداخليّة واليوميّة. ويستقطب حرم كينغز أكاديمي ـ الواقع على مشارف مدينة مادبا التاريخيّة في الأردنّ اعتباراً من أواخر شهر حزيران/يونيو وحتى نهاية شهر تموز/يوليو ـ مجموعة كبيرة من الطّلبة من الأردنّ ومختلف دول العالم بهدف تحسين مهاراتهم في الصّفّ والمختبر وفي الملعب أيضاً.
إنّ جميع ما يتضمّنه البرنامج الصّيفي في كينغز أكاديمي من أنشطة وبرامج تعكس توجه المدرسة نحو التّميّز لما تتمتّع به من سمعة باعتبارها واحدة من المؤسّسات التّعليميّة الرّائدة في منطقة الشّرق الأوسط.
- مخيّم الـ i2: هو مخيّم أسبوعيّ مخصّص للطّلبة ذوي الميول العلميّة من عمر 11- 15 سنة لما يتضمّنه من أنشطة مثيرة في العلوم والتّكنولوجيا والهندسة والرّياضيّات. وقد تمّ تصميمه على يد أمهر الخبراء والمؤسّسات العلميّة في هذا المجال، ومنها معهد ماساتشوستس للتّكنولوجيا (MIT) ووكالة الفضاء الأمريكيّة (NASA) وجامعة كولومبيا وأكاديمية نيويورك للعلوم ومتحف بوسطن للعلوم.
- البرامج الأكاديمية في اللّغة العربيّة واللّغة الإنجليزيّة والرّياضيّات: هي برامج مخصّصة للطّلبة من عمر 12-16 سنة الرّاغبين في تحسين مهاراتهم في هذه المساقات. تمتد على مدار أربعة أسابيع ويتم تقديمها من قبل معلمي كينغز أكاديمي.
- الدورة التّحضيريّة في الـ SAT: هي دورة تقدّم من قبل معلّمي كينغز أكاديمي ومخصصة للطّلبة الأكبر سناً والرّاغبين بتحسين قدراتهم ومهاراتهم اللازمة لتقديم امتحان الـ SAT.
- البرنامج الرّياضيّ: وهو مخصص للأطفال من عمر 6 ـ 12 سنة حيث يقدّم العديد من الفرص الممتعة إمّا للتدرّب والمنافسة أو لمجرّد الاستمتاع باللّعب وتعلّم رياضات جديدة.

خلال شهر رمضان الفضيل
إن كينغز أكاديمي تراعي حرمة شهر رمضان الفضيل حيث تأخذ بعين الاعتبار عند تحضير البرامج اليوميّة تقديم وجبات منتظمة على الفطور والسّحور للطّلبة الصّائمين في حين يتمّ تقديم وجبات الفطور والغداء بشكل منتظم أيضاً للطّلبة غير الصّائمين.
