During Ramadan
Traditions and practices at King’s Academy reflect its setting in the heart of the Muslim world, so observance of Ramadan occurs naturally for the faculty and staff. SUMMER at KING’S ACADEMY will alter its regular daily schedule and provide appropriate meals to accommodate students who are observing Ramadan, which in 2014 will overlap with the program. The academic and activity schedule will be abbreviated during Ramadan. A pre-dawn suhoor meal will be served, along with an iftar meal after sundown. For non-Muslim or non-fasting students, regular breakfast and lunch will be served.
