Host:
Mohammad Abdallah Khamis AKA (Khamis), An international world class Event Specialist and The founder of JoStandup full time comedy club in Amman, Jordan. Khamis has performed more than 500 hours of live comedy in more than 7 countries. Khamis founded the first Arabic comedy show in Malaysia titled “Yalla Comedy” back on 2016. Khamis is also a writer and voice over talent, his work been broadcasted in many TV channels such cartoon network, National Geographic, SBC TV Saudi Arabia, Comedy Central and many more.

Opening Act:
Jude Batayneh takes comedy seriously. Having performed in multiple countries over the past 6 years and to a wide range of audiences, she learned that no matter their background, everyone can agree that she’s rather average. Jude is the opening act in the first half of the show, telling us her experience of being fit in a fat society.

Comedy Sketch Cast:
Fares Haddaden has been a part of the drama scene in Amman since his early childhood at the Bishop’s school theatre, he has performed in numerous plays, radio and TV shows; amongst them the acclaimed political play Komester and had been a featured comedian on kharabeesh and many other venues in Amman throughout the years. His four-year run as Abu Trad has brought him greater fame and has eventually became a prominent actor, MC and comedian in Jordan and beyond. In our show Abu Trad who runs a wedding planning agency and try to communicate to the customer via his son trad. What makes it funny is that all his sentences are idioms.
Natheer Khawaldeh is a Puppeteer, Writer and Comedy actor from Jordan, as well as the founder of many animation shows which spread the good values and positive behaviour. he stood out in Jordan’s comedy world through his works on screen and his ability to present societal issues in a new light by writing his own scripts. Natheer plays the role of “Trad” in the comedy sketch. Trad works with his Father Abu Trad as a wedding planner. He thinks that he can speak English very well and tries hard to translate his father sentences word by word and make the situation worse. His funny word by word translation wake up all the funny punchlines and a totally different story to be understood.
Petra Vajdić is a bubbly funny character who is also a preschool teacher here in Amman, Jordan. Petra is from Croatia. Petra Plays the role of the foreigner who is looking for a wedding planner to do her wedding in Jordan and she will be lost in translation during the comedy sketch. Petra’s big passion is acting, and she’s making her debut with “You Speak Arabic”. She enjoys singing and dancing and she found the challenge of a live show thrilling.
