BIO

4NX
A talent exchange platform that hosts special events in the MENA region, marking 2 years of great music, artist opportunities and many magical moments.

Adil Hiani
There can be few artists attempting to bridge cultures through the power of music with quite the same impact as Adil Hiani. The Moroccan artist has been on a mission to unite the sounds of Western electronics with the traditional folk music of his homeland since 2009, when he helped launch Cosmo Records from his base in Casablanca. Since then he has rapidly developed both as a label manager and as an artist in his own right.

BalQeis
BalQeis is a classically trained oud player, but that schooling hasn’t restricted her music – all the contrary. She employs her virtuosity on the instrument and knowledge of Middle Eastern modes to lay down elegant, serpentine compositions, which she splits open with distortion heavy metal-esque shreds. On top of that, she uses loops to create what can only be described as a wave of oud. More recently, BalQeis has been incorporating analog beats into her work; essentially, she is a one-woman band, known for pushing the limits of the oud – in her case, a matte black one slung across her chest.

Ameed
Ameed found his love for music immediately after laying his hands on a DJ set at the age of 15, soon to DJ at his hometown’s best clubs at the age of 16 sneaking from the back doors.
Having DJ residencies at several hotspots in Amman, which led
to a vast musical experience in various genres and a precise
technical skill, which took more than 10 years to curate, and
resulting in taking his performances abroad, he has played for
many dance-floors in Cairo, Sinai, Goa, Damascus and Amman whilst still improving day by day.
