يوم الأثنين 2 نيسان 2018 الساعة السابعة مساءً على مسرح الرينبو – جبل عمان – الدوار الأول.

الدعوة عامة والدخول مجاني مع العلم بأن الأبواب تغلق الساعة السابعة مساءً.

كيف يبدو الأمر عندما يكون المرء في المنفى في بلد يقع على الحدود مع وطنه؟ الفيلم الوثائقي “قصص سورية” هو نتاج ورشات عمل عُقدت في بيروت وعمّان وإسطنبول في 2017 تحت إشراف المجلس الثقافي البريطاني وبدايات للفنون السمعية والبصرية والمعهد الأسكتلندي للأفلام الوثائقية شارك فيه 35 سوري ممن يقيمون في سوريا والأردن ولبنان وتركيا.

ويعكس هذا الفيلم التجارب المتنوعة لسوريين شردهم النزاع. ففي رحلة سينمائية عبر مناظر طبيعية وعاطفية مختلفة، نرى – على حد تعبير الكاتب السوري ياسين الحاج صالح – كيف “الأمور الشخصية أصبحت عامة وسياسية، فيما الأمور العامة والسياسية أصبحت شخصية”.

عُرض الفيلم لأول مرة في بيروت بمناسبة اليوم العالمي للمرأة. بينما عرضت بعض الأفلام القصيرة ضمن هذا الفيلم الوثائقي في مهرجان شيفيلد للأفلام الوثائقية.

An anthology of 11 short documentary films, 100 min, in Arabic with English subtitles, Syria/ Lebanon/ Jordan/ Turkey & UK, 2018

What is it like to be in exile in a country that borders home?

This documentary anthology, is the product of a series of workshops held in Beirut, Amman and Istanbul in 2017, organized by the British Council, Bidayyat for Audiovisual Arts and the Scottish Documentary Institute and in which took part 35 Syrians living in Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, and Turkey.

The film reflects the diverse experiences of Syrian people displaced by the conflict. In a cinematic journey through different geographic and emotional landscapes, we see how, in the words of Syrian author Yassin al-Haj Saleh, “the personal has become public and political, the public and political has become personal”.

The film premiered in Beirut on the occasion of the International Women’s Day. Whereas some of the short films within the documentary were screened at Sheffield Doc/Fest.
