Jadal for Knowledge and Culture in collaboration with Luciana Meinking is happy to invite you for a Samba workshop.

Brazil’s rich dancing culture finds in samba one of its best representations. From the vibrant streets of Bahia to the colorful carnival parades of Rio, samba is one of the most liked rhythms and dances of the country. Join us to learn a little bit about Brazil’s music and cultural expressions. This workshop is meant for both male and female beginners who love dancing and would like to learn some basic samba and Afro-Brazilian steps. Luciana is originally from the northeast state of Bahia and would like to share some of her country’s dancing culture with curious people in a community-based cultural exchange. A practitioner of Capoeira Angola, she is very passionate about music and dancing.
