The Goethe-Institut cordially invites you to the new series “OPEN THURSDAY”.
These events are aimed at employees of NGOs as well as humanitarian organisations who would like to find out more about our projects and possible collaborations.

The Goethe-Institut invites you to pass by after work to meet us, network and find out more about our current projects. Every Thursday we will present a new motto, on April 6, 2017 we will focus on the “1001 Pages” literature project.

THE PROJECT: „1001 Pages. Books for Young People“
“1001 Pages. Books for Young People” is a literature project aimed at young people from the Arabic-speaking world. It comprises the publication, in Arabic translation, of a number of books that are among the most popular and successful works of the past decades in Germany. The books are directed at young and adult readers.

OPEN THURSDAY
Do you work for an organisation that for example runs a library for youth or do you work in the field of reading promotion? Then pass by to chat to our project team about possible collaborations!
This week we will be joined by designer Hind Dajani who will teach us how to sew a book bag as an example for a hands-on activity that could follow a reading or storytelling session.
