Ramadan is here! To celebrate the occasion Shams Community will be hosting a range of events throughout the month to inspire, empower and connect. Everyone is welcome to join.

Every Monday we will be hosting the usual Dinner (Iftar) and Dialogue. We will be gathering from 7:00pm onwards. After a short introduction Iftar will begin once the sun goes down… Join us for soup, salad and a main dish over a dialogue on a diverse selection of topics outlined below:

Monday 29th May: Identity – Who Am I?
Monday 5th June: Failure and Success
Monday 12th June: Relationships with others and yourself
Monday 19th June: Self-control

احتفالاً مع بداية شهر رمضان 2017, يسر مجتمع شمس أن تستضيف مجموعة من الفعاليات المتنوعة خلال الشهر المبارك تعمل على الإلهام, والتمكين والتشبيك. نرحب بالجميع مشاركتنا من مختلف الأعمار والمعتقدات.

أول فعاليتنا خلال هذا الشهر ستكون إفطارات وحوارات يوم الاثنين حيث نجتمع كل يوم أثنين من الساعة من الساعة 7:00 مساءاً حيث نبدأ بمقدمة بسيطة عن اليوم قبل أن نبدأ الإفطار مع موعد غروب الشمس, حيث ستقدم إفطار مميز يضم شوربة, سلطة, وطبق رئيسي من المطابخ التنوعة حول حول على مواضيع مختارة لكل يوم كالتالي :

يوم الاثنين : 29 / 5 الهوية : من أنا ؟
يوم الاثنين : 5/ 6 الفشل والنجاح
يوم الاثنين : 12 / 6 العلاقات مع الاخرين ومع نفسك ؟
يوم الاثنين : 19 /6 : ضبط النفس .

What should you expect?
1. Connect with another 15 – 20 people from diverse backgrounds, and be ready to be inspired.
2. Exchange your knowledge and ideas and participate in dialogue with other global minds.
3. Enjoy your dinner, drinks, and conversation.

ماذا عليك أن تتوقع خلال هذه الليلة ؟
1. مقابلة مجموعة من الناس المختلفة من خلفيات ثقافية متنوعة .
2. تبادل المعرفة والأفكار مع المشاركين.
3. استمتع بالطعام الحوار والأمسية.

How much will it cost?
We ask for a contribution towards the cost of the food, and hosting the event of 6 JD per person. We will offer water & tea for everyone.

كم تكلفة المشاركة ؟
نقوم بالعادة طلب مبلغ 6 دنانير لتغطية تكاليف الافطار , واستضافة الفعالية, نقوم أيضاً بتوفير مياه و شاي للجميع .
