With his voice and his Sax in hand, Othman El Kheloufi is blowing a fresh, new tune from Morocco.
Jack-of-all-trades, curious, resisting classification, the inspiration of the melodies of this Salé native come as much from his roots as from the people he meets.
Self-taught in the saxophone, his re-appropriation of this instrument has given birth to a new language, the “Jazz Beldi”.
With an unconditional commitment to live performance, this man of theater – adorned with his multicolored shirts – take the stage by storm with Moroccan music, creating with his audience, an explosive, joyous and festive cocktail of Jazz and World music.‫ The colors of a modern Morocco.
