THIS SALOON WILL BE EXCEPTIONALLY ON THURSDAY INSTEAD OF WEDNESDAY.

Why do people oppose us when we want to initiate positive changes in our environment, our society? What is going on in the other person and how can I understand them better? What is going on in me in challenging situations and what would be the most constructive and empowering thing for me to do? How can we connect and collaborate with a person standing in our way, instead of fighting them or running away from them?

Jadal for Knowledge and Culture is happy to invite you for a special #Jadal_Saloon* to discuss and practice some skills of NVC (Nonviolent Communication) with Robert Krzisnik**.

When attempting to initiate and carryout changes in our social environment that we believe would benefit many, in not all, we are often faced with a person in power, who refuses to support us and actually prevents us from continuing. In this short interactive workshop we will, through examples, demonstrations and exercises explore how can certain skills of Nonviolent Communication help us transform hopeless encounters into a dialogue and collaboration?

*Jadal Saloon is a weekly discussion, that takes place every Wednesday. Each time we choose a topic related to science, society or philosophy to discuss collectively. We hope that these weekly gatherings will encourage discussions, sharing and building knowledge. Your suggestions regarding topics to discuss are more than welcome.

Important notes:

– THIS SALOON WILL BE EXCEPTIONALLY ON THURSDAY INSTEAD OF WEDNESDAY.
– Donations are much appreciated to cover the cost of the WS.

From early teenage years I have been inquiring into the questions of meaning of life, the nature of existence and the ways of meeting each other at the heart level. The journey led me through studying Psychology, working as a psychotherapist for 12 years, and working as a trainer, facilitator for over 30 years, covering areas from spiritual retreats to business trainings. I have shared NVC in over 25 countries in Europe, Mideast, Asia, USA, Australia…
