How is music helping people deal with violence in Sudan? How are Sudanese people responding to adversity with singing and dancing? What is the role of music in helping affected communities cope with conflict and hardship? Can music bind communities together?

JADAL for Knowledge and Culture in collaboration with friends, invites you to our weekly #Jadal_Saloon* where we’ll try to explore all these questions together in an open discussion after watching a documentary about the subject.

Date and time: Wednesday the 3rd of July, @ 7:30 p.m.

This is a free and open event so please bring your friends and invite anyone that you think might be interested!

*Jadal Saloon is a weekly discussion, that takes place every Wednesday. Each time we choose a topic related to science, society or philosophy to discuss collectively. We hope that these weekly gatherings will encourage discussions, sharing and building knowledge. Your suggestions regarding topics to discuss are more than welcome.
