معظم أشكال الحياة على الأرض، بما فيها الجيل القادم، تواجه شبحًا يهدّد بكوارث مؤكّدة، وسط إنكار وتجاهل مريعين. احتجاجًا على ذلك، وعلى منظومة عالميّة تسير بالمقلوب، واقتصاد يقوم على استغلال الأرض والإنسان من أجل الرّبح، وطريقة حياة مناقضة لقوانين الطّبيعة، واستنكارًا لتقاعس سياسيّي العالم عن التّعامل مع الكارثة البيئيّة المحدقة بالأرض عامّة ومنطقتنا خاصّة.
تعلن جدل للمعرفة والثّقافة، بالتّعاون مع ناشطين/ـات تفاعلها ومشاركتها مع الحراك الشّبابي العالمي في “أسبوع إضراب المناخ العالمي” المحدّد بين 20-27 أيلول، للقيام بإضرابات وفعاليّات للفت الأنظار نحو الأزمة البيئيّة، ومناقشة أبعادها، والعمل على وضع حد للإنقراض السّادس، واستعمال الوقود الأحفوري. وذلك وفق البرنامج التّالي:

– أمسية موسيقيّة: دعاء وغناء للأرض، بالتّعاون مع فرقة سمازِن.
يوم السّبت 21 أيلول، التّجمع في السّاعة 7:30، تبدأ الحفلة في السّاعة 8:00 مساء.

Most of life forms on Earth, including the next generation, are facing a ghost that brings on almost certain disasters, amid horrific denial and ignorance. Seeing the failure of policy makers globally and regionally to take responsibility and respond to the climate crisis, we protest and object a world turned upside down and an economic system based on the exploitation of the planet’s natural resources and the human for the sake of profit, and a way of life that goes against the laws of nature.

This said, Jadal for Knowledge and Culture, in cooperation with activists, is taking part in the global World Climate Strike Week scheduled on 20-27 of September. Together we will carry out strikes and events to draw attention to the climate crisis, and will call for the end of fossils fuel and for the prevention of the sixth extinction. Get involved and join us in the following events:

– Music evening: Prayerformance for Mother Earth, in cooperation with the SemaZen band.
