“Burnout” is about characters from different social backgrounds in Casablanca, the biggest city in Morocco. Ayoub, a 13-year old shoe polisher, spends his days polishing shoes on the main street. His dream is to buy a prosthetic leg for his disabled mother Rabia.

Jad, a young wealthy CEO, wants to get rid of the obsession of his late father and suffers from an unhappy relationship with his wife Ghita, who is an art gallery owner, ready to do anything to find a painting by the fascinating painter Saladi.

Aida, 25 years old, is a medical student in need of money and starts a new job as a call-girl for rich and powerful men.
All these characters will meet and their destiny will show us what each one has to hide.

The movie was screened at Dubai International Film Festival as well as at Troms International Film Festival in Norway.
