وجود وحدود هو عرض رقص معاصر يقدم ومضات من حياة 8 راقصين تحكى من خلال الحركة والصوت والتركيب المسرحي. بدأت الفكرة بعرض ثنائي لقصة عبد وأنس وتطورت لتستكشف الماضي المجسد لثمانية فنانين أدائيين عرب من أصول أردنية، فلسطينية، وسورية يعيشون في مدينة عمان. يستكشف هذا العمل باستخدام موتيف الدبكة كحركة فردية وجماعية طبيعة المؤيدين الثمانية ،عاداتهم، وصراعهم لوصف أنفسهم في المجتمع بطرق تعبر عن صفاتهم المتفردة وانتمائاتهم الجماعية التي تتغير بتغير الزمن والظروف. يحكي هذا العمل حكاية، وهي حكاية حقيقية.

“Wujoud Wa Hodoud” – by Studio 8
An interdisciplinary, contemporary dance performance

“Wujoud wa Hodoud” is a Jordanian contemporary dance work that combines technology with the human form, as well as scripted intentionality with spontaneity, into a kinetic narrative of the human condition. The dance started as a duet, later evolved into an investigation of the embodied past of eight Arab performing artists of Jordanian, Palestinian, Syrian heritage living in Amman, observing the acquired habits from the childhood to adulthood.

Studio 8:
A capacity building project that creates forward-thinking, cutting-edge dance works in Amman, Jordan. Started in 2014, it is designed to allow performing artists to experiment with new techniques that are related to performing arts, theatre and dance in all its divisions including puppeteering, installation, shadow theatre, kinetic drawing, experimental music and unconventional theatrical costumes as well as producing and directing short dance films.

Co-founder of Studio 8, he is an active performer, choreographer, cultural organizer and researcher with a focus on both movement and contextual analysis.
He has completed an international master’s degree in Dance Knowledge, Practice, and Heritage in Clermont-Ferrand, France; Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway; University of Szeged (SZTE), Hungary; University of Roehampton, United Kingdom.
