يستعرض كبير الباحثين في مؤسسة الدراسات الفلسطينّية د.سليم تماري السيرة الذاتّية المبّكرة في فلسطين كمدخل لقراءة التاريخ الاجتماعي، متّخذاً من كتابي “مفلح الغساني” و”عدنان الإدريسي” للمفكّر لنجيب نصار صاحب دار نشر الكرمل في حيفا كنموذجين لتلك الفترة. خاصة أن رواية “مفلح الغساني” هي النص الوحيد المعاصر في اللغة العربية الذي عالج فترة الحرب العظمى وتبعاتها الاجتماعيّة والسياسيّة.

Salim Tamari, researcher at the Institute for Palestine Studies will discuss the autobiographic fictional work of Najib Nassar, founder of al Karmil newspaper in Haifa, from the period of the Great War (WWI) as sources of the social history of Palestine.
