El- Masri takes from Amman a new location for his art.
Walid El Masri, an artist of Lebanese origins, born in Syria in 1979. He carries a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Damascus, 2005. El Masri had previously studied mosaics and was apprenticed by artist Marwan Kassab-Bachi.Artist Walid El Masri currently lives and works in Paris. Ayyam Gallery has been exhibiting El Masri’s works from 2007 till 2015.
El Masri has been working on a number of projects, among which two collections have been displayed: The Chair (Al- Kursi) since 2004, followed by The Cocoon (Al- Sharnaqah) since 2014.
The Artist lives and works in Paris, France
With this exhibition Karim Gallery is making its comeback with the cocoon collection to symbolise the re-birth of its gallery after a revamping recess.
