The French Algerian director Farid Bentoumi, who is also an actor, will propose the participants to work on specific famous films’ scenes. He will explore all the dimensions of the work of an actor, with a focus on body and spoken languages in a non-mother tongue (English).

2- From 12pm-2pm: Directing master class, by Darin Salam
Public: Filmmaking students in universities and people interested.

This master class will explore the director’s relationship with the screenplay, visual storytelling, characters, working with actors and understanding the director’s practice through the whole process of filmmaking.

The Tunisian director Férid Boughedir, accompanied by Marsa company producer Anne-Marie Baduel, will be here during the festival to present their film “Parfum de printemps”, Best Arab film award at International Cairo Film Festival. They will come to share their experience of full-length production, and giving the participants advices on financing and presenting a film project.
