Dance and music are inseparably connected. The movement in the dance is the direct interpretation of what the dancers hear in music.

Argentine Tango, being an improvised dance, requires a very developed musical listening. In this course we will focus on the interpretation of Argentine tango music by movement.

We will explore in depth how our body functions in the dance and what the different techniques are to express all the variety in the music.

This workshop will improve your body awareness and tango technique as well as how to use your feet to express the music.

You will learn to better understand the music, rhythm and syncopations, recognize the rhythm, the melody and phrases, as well as interpret the contrasts and energies in the tango songs.

# Workshop fee: 20JD per student for full pass.
