في اللقاء القادم من لقاءات “نادي الحوار الفني” نتشرف بأستقبال الفنان المؤسس والقدير مهنا الدرة ليحدثنا عن خبرته في الفن. لقد مثل الدرة الحركة الثقافية والتشكيلية الاردنية على مر السنين في العديد من المناسبات والمعارض الفنية حول العالم، بالأضافة لحوزته على العديد من الاوسمة والجوائز والمنح والمشاراكات المحلية والعالمية.

مهنّا الدرّة، دبلوماسي ورسام أردني اشتهر على نطاق واسع كونه أول من قدّم الفن التجريدي في الفنون البصرية في الأردن. كان له الفضل الكبير في تأسيس قسم الفنون الجميلة في دائرة الثقافة والفنون في عمان كما أسّس معهد الفنون الجميلة عام 1970. كان مهنا الدرة أول أردني يؤسس استديو فني لتعليم الطلاب وما زال يقدم الكثير من خبراته للاجيال في عمله حاليا كأستاذ في كلية الفنون والتصميم في الجامعة الأردنية.

In the next meeting of “Hiwar Art Club”, we are honored to welcome the founding and eminent artist Muhanna Durra to tell us about his experience in art. Al Durra represented the Jordanian cultural and fine art movement over the years in many events and art exhibitions around the world, in addition to his possession of many medals, awards, grants and local and international participations.

Muhanna Durra, a Jordanian diplomat and painter widely known for being the first to introduce abstract art in Jordan. He founded the Department of Fine Arts at the National Center for Culture and Arts in Amman and the Institute of Fine Arts in 1970. Muhanna Durra was the first Jordanian to establish a technical studio program to teach students. Now he still offers generously from his expertise as an art professor at the Faculty of Arts and Design at the University Jordan.
