On Friday, November 8, Zorba Rooftop will host a live event featuring Idreesi.

Known for injecting an overall ethnic, acoustic and organic vibe to electronic music, Idreesi will be playing a solo live performance which is completely different to the usual sounds of the basement in Amman. Not constrained to one single genre, Idreesi creates soundscapes with a foundation of electronics, but greatly influenced by experimentalist rock and indie pop.

Supported with live visuals by The Zaid Khaled, The ambiguity of Idreesi and Zaid’s Audio-Visual Show alike is arguably what makes the due so alluring, constantly launching the viewer high onto a bed of complex human emotions.

Zaid is also prepared to close the night with his intimate DJ Set, where he display an uncanny ability to combine the old with the new and the East with the West.

B-side will also be taking the stage to warm up the crowd before Idreesi takes over.
