Yesterday (January 13) I was in the Taj Mall store wanting to try on a winter jacket that had a tag which said 50% sale. As I was holding the jacket, one of the staff came and removed the tag from the hanger and said that if I wanted the 50% sale price, I would have to come back "tomorrow!" I could not believe what he was saying since there were signs all over the window of the store saying 50% off and plus that the jacket had a tag on it when I began to try it on. He removed the tag while I was holding the coat! Of course I left the store, never to return again and bought another one at one of your competitors. How can you advertise 50% sale, have an item labeled that in your store and then refuse to give the discount? Perhaps there had been a mistake, but the tags were on all of the coats, not just the one that I held and I should have been given the discount for good customer service. The 50% tags could then have been quietly removed while there were no customers and replaced later. I should have been allowed to buy the coat, I would have been happy, there would have not been an issue and I would still be your customer. As it stands now, I will never shop in your store again and I accuse Monsoon of false advertising!.
