In 2011, Zaina set out to produce an innovative collection of artistic designs and paintings, inspired by her late distinguished uncle, Issam El-Said.

Having been raised in a home liberally adorned by Issam El-Said's work, Zaina always knew that her intrigue by such creative expression would eventually prompt a continuation of his legacy, a part deux to an artistic journey which had ended too soon.

With beauty derived from eastern spirituality and Mesopotamian culture, her work displays both recreated and original works inspired by Issam El-Said's art. Through this Homage, Zaina aspires to lend a modern appeal to her uncle's works, and to revive his notable art with various accented materials and mixed media, resulting with a celebration of colors and textures, including plexiglass, wood, leather, and wall panels to name a few.
