Orthodox Church at Mar Elyas
a beuatiful site atop a Hill witha great view of the surrounding valleys. Ancient mosaics remain of what was once the floor of a LARGE Orthodox church built in the 9th or 10th century...even a few loose mosaic tiles lieing around that can not be restored and sealed...so I pocketed a couple of 1,200 year old souvenirs.... And the toilets don't work there, so be prepared to use a large tree, etc. A great place to enjoy history..
