Greetings,
I am a teaching staff Engineer at the University of Mustansirya and work hard on computer. I was advised to consult you.
I have been diagnosed as type2 diabetes with metabolic syndrome and kept on oral antidiabetic, anti hypertensive and cholesterol treatment. Recently due to uncontrolled hyperglycemia Insulin was added.
Around 2 weeks ago I developed a visual problem started to visualize a white patch like finger print with the left eye- on examination I was informed to have retinal edema on left eye and vascular changes with the right eye. I was kept on fluroptic nonsteroidal antiinflamatoy eye drops. and feel better on left eye.
Investigations showed that I have bilateral retinopathy and need lazer therapy for both eyes.
