Dear Sirs,
We the Jordanian Association for Cut Flowers and Ornamental Plants are holding our second Farmers Market which will be held on every weekend starting from 5-6/ April /2013 from 10:00am - 10:00pm at Galleria Ras Al Ain across from the municipality of Amman
We aim to promote our agricultural produce by providing small family farms the opportunity to sell their remarkably grown products directly to consumers, while ensuring its freshness and most nutritious locally grown food that Jordan has to offer.
We hope this will be the beginning of a constant and diverse outdoor urban farmers market that will extend in participants and visitors, and can be a fun day outing for the whole family that will educate school children and city residents about the importance of agriculture, while providing a wholesale opportunity for small and medium sized farms and enable the consumer to buy at wholesale prices.
We aspire to create a unique relationship between farmers and city residents whilst revitalizing rural communities and urban spaces.
