Austrumu Koku Eksports Ltd (AKE) was established in 2000 and has successfully grown to one of the most respected timber trader in Latvia. We built up a considerable portfolio among our costumers in local and foreign markets. Developing successful processing and buying mechanism in Russia, Belarus and Latvia with fast timber transporting for further reprocessing and treating for export demands, company become equivalent among leading timber traders and manufacturers. Recently AKE have made investments to set up production facilities, new grading and planning line with a production capacity of 100 000m3 annually. In the mean time we are mainly work with Spruce and/or Pine, material can be fresh sawn, kiln dried, regularized, graded C16/24, pressure treated (CCO, Tanalith), dimensions in thickness 25/47/75/100, width 50mm up to 225mm, length 2.4m up to 6.0m. Our target is to provide a full and qualitative service to our clients and end-users, setting as priorities effective and accurate timber supply, quality and competitive price policy.
