The MAUS Seminar – Educational shorts for children in refugee and marginalized communities. – An invitation for NGO practitioners, for volunteers, teachers and pedagogical staff who work with children (elementary school age).<\/p>\n

The seminar will introduce 24 stories (in Arabic) from the famous German TV series with the \u201cMaus\u201d. The material will be available for free for educational purposes.<\/p>\n

What is the TV program with the \u201cMaus\u201d?
\nThe program \u201cDie Sendung mit der Maus\u201d is one of Germany\u00b4s most popular children’s TV programs. It has been on air ever since 1971, and it is being produced by the \u201cWestdeutscher Rundfunk\u201d (WDR) in Cologne.<\/p>\n

Its branding is the animated “Maus” \u2013 a character that solves problems in a happy and relaxed way.<\/p>\n

Short \u201cstories\u201d address issues from the world of an elementary school age child, asking \u201cWhy?\u201d things work as they do and how natural phenomena can be explained.<\/p>\n
