Antonio Di Cristofano completed his piano studies in 1986 at the Conservatory \u201cL.Cherubini\u201d in Florence, under the supervision of M\u00b0 Bacchelli and has perfected with M\u00b0 Damerini.<\/p>\n
He performs either as a piano soloist or in different musical ensembles; he played as a soloist with the Orchestra of the University of Milan, Strings Orchestra \u201cCantelli\u201d of Milan, Chamber Orchestra of Florence, Symphony Orchestra of Lecce, Magna Grecia Orchestra, Sicily Symphony Orchestra, Solisti Aquilani, Milano Classica Orchestra, Radio Orchestra of Bucarest, Orquesta Sinfonica de l\u2019Estado de Mexico, University Orchestra of Houston, Radiotelevision Albania Orchestra, Istanbul Chamber Orchestra, Praga Radio Symphony Orchestra, North Czech Philarmonic,LamontSymphony Orchestra Denver,Czech Philarmonic Orchestra,Izmir Symphony Orchestra, Iasi State Philarmonic,Wiener Mozart Orchestra, Toronto Sinfonia, Philarmonique de Montreal, Jerusalem Symphony, Slovak Filharmonie, Kaerntner Sinfonieorchester, Orchestra Sinfonica Abruzzese, Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, FVG Mittleuropa Orchestra, etc. with conductors like G. Taverna, F. A. Krager, O. Balan, M. Bosch, M. Ancillotti, M. Alsop, N. Arman, C. Schulz, M. Zanini, C. Olivieri-Munroe, L. Svarovsky, A. Chernushenko, and many others.
\nHe played, in Italy, for the most important Festival: the \u201cVerdi Theatre\u201d in Florence, the \u201cFestival dei Due Mondi\u201d in Spoleto, \u201cAsolo Musica\u201d, the Theatre of Alessandria, the \u201cBibbiena Theatre\u201d in Mantova, the \u201cPuccini Hall\u201d at the Conservatory \u201cG.Verdi\u201d in Milan, \u201cPoliteama Theatre\u201d in Palermo, \u201cAuditorium San Barnaba\u201d in Brescia, etc., in Romania (Aeteneum and Radio Bucarest, ecc.), Espana (Festival de Vigo, Madrid, Jeunesses Musicales de Sevilla), Mexico (Belles Artes Palacio, Revueltas Auditorium), USA (Moores Opera House of Houston, Newman Center in Denver, Washington International Piano Festival, ecc), Turkey (Istanbul, Izmir and Adana), Croatia (Dubrovnik \u2013 Rector Palace), Czech Republic (Praga \u2013 Smetana Hall and Dvorak Hall), Russia (Ciaikovsky Conservatoire), South Korea (Seoul \u2013 Leeum Auditorium), France (Nancyphonies Festival), Austria (Konzerthaus \u2013 Klagenfurt), Germany (Gasteig \u2013 Munich), Chopin Society Warsaw, Canada (Toronto \u2013 Glenn Gould Studio), Kotor Festival (Montenegro), Shangai International Piano Festival (China), Swiss, Albania, Israel, England, Portugal, Bulgary, Ukraine, Belgium, Brazil.
\nHe recorded one CD with Schubert\u2019s music and recently a newone with music of Brahms, Berg and Scriabin. In 2006 and 2007 he made the debut in Carnegie Hall \u2013 New York and in Konzerthaus and Golden Hall MusikVerein in Wien. He is often invited as a judge in international Piano Competitions (Compositores de Espana \u2013 Madrid, Varallo, Cant\u00f9, Osijek, Gante \u2013 Pordenone, Parigi, Viardo \u2013 Belmont, Rachmaninov \u2013 Moscow, Iturbi \u2013 Valencia, Parnassos \u2013 Monterrey, Astana Merei International Competition \u2013 Astana, Baltic Piano Competition \u2013 Gdansk, ecc) and to teach in Ciaikovsky Conservatoire in Moscow, in the Shangay Conservatoire, in the Summer Academy in Dubrovnik, in Denver University, in the SMC Academy in Seoul, in the Valletta International Piano Festival, in Thessaloniki Conservatoire and in many American universities. He recently received the Paul Harrys Fellows from Rotary Club.<\/p>\n
