Dance and music are inseparably connected. The movement in the dance is the direct interpretation of what the dancers hear in music.<\/p>\n
Argentine Tango, being an improvised dance, requires a very developed musical listening. In this course we will focus on the interpretation of Argentine tango music by movement.<\/p>\n
We will explore in depth how our body functions in the dance and what the different techniques are to express all the variety in the music.<\/p>\n
This workshop will improve your body awareness and tango technique as well as how to use your feet to express the music.<\/p>\n
You will learn to better understand the music, rhythm and syncopations, recognize the rhythm, the melody and phrases, as well as interpret the contrasts and energies in the tango songs.<\/p>\n
# Workshop fee: 20JD per student for full pass.<\/p>\n
