Have you taken the time to remember that the region between the Mediterranean and the Tigris, now charged with rivers of blood and oil, gave birth to many of the fundamentals of our civilization?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Kelvin Bown has once again tapped into his artistic and technical skills to restore historic images from this important region, known in modern history as the Fertile Crescent. Kelvin restores images from the earliest available source material, lending them clarity, depth and life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Rubble all looks the same, that\u2019s why we are no longer able to tell Aleppo from Erbil, or Mossul from Homs. The rubble is meant to frighten and make us forget. These photos are icons of a collective resistance, as they can restore the rubble through the power of memory.
