He carries a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Damascus, 2005. El Masri had previously studied mosaics and was apprenticed by artist Marwan Kassab-Bachi.Artist Walid El Masri currently lives and works in Paris. Ayyam Gallery has been exhibiting El Masri\u2019s works from 2007 till 2015.<br \/>\nEl Masri has been working on a number of projects, among which two collections have been displayed: The Chair (Al- Kursi) since 2004, followed by The Cocoon (Al- Sharnaqah) since 2014.<br \/>\nThe Artist lives and works in Paris, France<br \/>\nWith this exhibition Karim Gallery is making its comeback with the cocoon collection to symbolise the re-birth of its gallery after a revamping recess.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Walid El Masri &#8220;The Cocoon Series&#8221; Exhibition @ Karim Gallery Kindly mark the date October 1st 2016.
