\nThe overwhelming experience of office work exhausts human body along with the mind in ways cannot be resolved easily within the limits of the modern city. Hence, breaking the cycle is with no doubts an essential remedy. Leave the city, immerse yourself in desert, freshen your eyes with colourful spectrum of reflections, nurture your lungs by breathing oxygen-rich and carbon- dioxide-poor air, stretch your limbs by using them in ways differ from those of daily routine, spoil your tongue with on wood-fire cooked-food, let your skin absorb those sun rays that reach the Earth, experience the gentle passage of breeze among your hair strands, allow \u201cThe Desert\u201d orchestra to tickle your ears, and give your conscious a break and permit new thoughts to invade those
\nneurons of your brain. If you dare to ask how, keep reading!<\/p>\n

Shams kitchen is one of Shams’ Community weekly gatherings in which making the food is only half the fun. Participants are teamed up, preferably with strangers, and each team is given a type of food to prepare and invited to follow the recipe, although participants are usually encouraged to improvise. While cooking we engage in a dialogue about a social issue.<\/p>\n
