Baby-wearing promotes bonding, supports breastfeeding, can help combat postpartum depression, makes caregiving easier, and can be a lifesaver for parents of high-needs children. Carried babies sleep, feed, and grow better. \n\u2022 Bonding and other benefits of Babywearing for babies and parents
\n\u2022 Physical Child Development and Babywearing (how babywearing can prevent flat-head syndrome, hips displasia and encourage a healthy body development)
\n\u2022 Attachment theories and child psychological development, from the 4th trimester to toddlerhood
\n\u2022 Safety and comfort rules
\n\u2022 How to choose the right carrier: first hand demonstrations of a range of different slings and baby carriers<\/p>\n
This workshop is suitable for parents who want to know more about babywearing and the range of slings and baby carriers available. It\u2019s also a great introduction for people interested in further training.
