On Monday 27 February, Nabad opens the first solo exhibition of works by Jordanian artist Fadi Haddadin.<\/p>\n
Fadi obtained a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Visual Arts from the University of Jordan in 2012 and has been a full-time painter ever since. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions and workshops locally and regionally. The title of his show, “Invisible,” reflects the essence of his work–a continuous building and deconstruction of the work, resulting in a rich explosion of colour.<\/p>\n
Ammar Khammash, Jordanian architect and artist wrote:
\n“Fadi Haddadin transports us in a whirlwind of colour and movement to a cumulative construction of space by adding and concealing pictorial elements and content.
\nThere exists a certain energy in Haddadin\u2019s work which evokes emotions by way of veiling something that the painting demands to be veiled, in disobedience even to the will of the artist himself.”<\/p>\n
The exhibition continues through 19 March.
