SUMMARY:Unlocking Inspiration Workshop by Tomas van Houtryve
DESCRIPTION:In partnership with The US Embassy in Jordan\, Darat Al Tasweer annouce the call for participation in the Image Festival Amman #6 workshop \nUnlocking Inspiration\nby Tomas van Houtryve\n21 and 22 April\n10:00am to 6:00pm \nThis workshop will focus on unleashing your creative potential. Participants will learn how to find inspiration outside of photography and channel it into building a narrative with images. \nOn the first day\, the portfolios and backgrounds of the participants will be examined\, and the instructor will present case studies of how creative ideas are generated and turned into photo essays. \nFor the second day\, each participant will be assigned a specific theme to photograph. His work often combines long-term journalistic investigation\, innovative image-making processes and philosophical concepts. His photographic prints and video installations are displayed by major venues including the ICP Museum in New York\, Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Photography\, and the Berlin Museum for Photography. He is the winner of the ICP Infinity Award\, the World Press Photo and the Bayeux Prize for War Correspondents. Van Houtryve is based in Paris and is a member of VII Photo.
