DESCRIPTION:“Trendsetting VII” Exhibition @ Nabad Art Gallery\n4 – 29 SEPTEMBER 2016\nThe seventh edition of Nabad’s annual series of design exhibitions\, “Trendsetting\,” will be held during Amman Design Week. “Trendsetting VII” brings together seven established designers who work across various artistic disciplines to create limited-edition functional and decorative pieces designed specifically for the show.\nOpening hours: 10 am – 1:30 pm & 4 – 7 pm.\nTel. 064655084 \nTrendsetting VII @ Nabad Art Gallery\nfrom the 4th of September\, 2016 – until 29th of September\, 2016\nUnder the patronage of HRH Princess Wijdan Al-Hashemi\, the opening of the seventh edition of Nabad’s annual series of design exhibitions\, “Trendsetting\,” will be held on the 4th of September at 6:30 pm. The event is being held during Amman Design Week.\n“Trendsetting VII” brings together seven established designers who work across artistic disciplines to create limited-edition functional and decorative pieces designed specifically for the show.\nJordanian painter Omar Bilbeisi uses his familiar stylized calligraphy and design skills to create unique pieces of furniture and fabric. Environmental designer Maha Kawar designs and creates a functional wall unit in wood\, her preferred creative medium. Jewellery designer Hania Kuzbari presents a new collection inspired by talismanic symbols\, fusing the old with the new. Boutros Al Maari presents a number of painted items depicting folkloric characters inspired by his native Damascus. Alia Mango Zabian and Suzanne Mango Taher design and create unique objects in Plexiglas\, wood and fabric and showcase their art of table setting. Architect and landscape designer Lara Zureikat designs prints and screens inspired by the native plants of Jordan.
