DESCRIPTION:“مينا” \n“مشروع موسيقي عالمي يحفر في أرض الذاكرة، يستخرج منها الجمال، ويبحر بها نحو ميناء جديد” \nترسو في مينائهم أغان قديمة، تصلهم محمّلة بذاكرة المكان والحياة التي تنبض فيه، بروائحها وتفاصيلها المنمنمة لأناس مضوا وتركوا وراءهم إرثًا موسيقيًا تلقائيًا كان نتاجًا طبيعيًا لوجودهم. \n“مينا” هي فرقة موسيقية تكوّنت بنفس هذه التلقائية، التقى أفرادها دون سابق معرفة أو تصميم، إلا أنها تبدو وكأنها صدفة مبيّتة؛ واضحة المعالم والطريق. وها هي تنبش في هذا الإرث الموسيقي الذي أغنته تجربة الشعوب وطبيعة معيشتها غير المتكلّفة. مستمدةً منه نواته الأكثر صلابة؛ الفطرة. فمنها، ومن بدائيتها الحسية، كتبت هذه الشعوب وغنّت عن الحب والحرب، العلاقات، الجمال، الثورات وحكايا الأجداد، فيما تتجلّى عاداتهم وتقاليدهم التي أنبتتها بيئتهم الأولى بكل تفاصيلها ومشاهدها، حيث صور البحّارة بانتظار عودتهم إلى زوجاتهم، وحيث وعود العشاق للقاء عند عين ماء، وحيث وعود الثوّار بالحرية. \nخمسة موسيقيين؛ البرتغاليون روي فيريرا، هلدر كوستا، أندريه أوليفيرا والمغنية صوفيا برتغال، والفلسطينية تريز سليمان يبحرون من جديد بهذه الأغاني. يتكئون على القيمة الجمالية العالية التي تحملها، ولكنهم يطمعون في السفر بها إلى مساحات تجريبية مغايرة تقودهم إليها تجاربهم الموسيقية اللافتة. \n“مينا” مرسى لعائلة لا زالت تتسع، تضمّ اليوم طاقمًا مهنيًا إلى جانب الموسيقيين الخمس، وهم مهندس الصوت ميخائيل جيرا، المصممة سنا جماليّة، منسقتا الإعلام رشا حلوة وأسماء عزايزة، والمترجمة آية حجازي. وكما التقى أفرادها، بحميمية تجاوزت المسافات، هكذا تلتقي المدن والأماكن في مشروعهم؛ ففي محطتهم الأولى، التقت فلسطين بالبرتغال وتونس وسوريا وإسبانيا ومصر والعراق والمغرب. \nومن بقاع أخرى على هذه البسيطة، تنتظر “مينا” أغنية بعيدة ترسو في مينائها، لتعيد إبحارها… \nMina \n“An international music project that deeply excavates the land of memory\, inspires beauty from it\, and sails towards a new port”. \nOld songs dock at their port\, they arrive carrying the memory of place and the life that respires into it\, with its aroma\, and with the tiny details of the people who had departed from it\, and left behind a musical legacy as a natural outgrowth of their presence. \n“Mina” (Arabic for port)\, (Portuguese for mine or source)\, is a band that was formed the same way\, its members met without prior knowledge or planning\, but it conjured into a deliberate coincidence\, one with clear features and a path. The band came together to hunt for this musical legacy\, enriched by the experience of its people and their stilted way of life\, deriving from it its most solid nucleus; instinct. From instinct and its pristine sensory\, the people wrote and chanted about love and war\, about relationships and beauty\, about mother nature\, revolutions and the stories of their ancestors\, manifesting their customs and traditions with joy\, sketching the images of their sailors waiting their return to their wives\, lovers promises to meet by the water spring\, and revolutionaries dreams for freedom. \nMina brings Terez Sliman (vocal and percussion) from Palestine together with Sofia Portugal (vocal and percussion) from Portugal among with other three Portuguese musicians؛ Rui Ferreira (piano)\, Pedro Pereira (Guitar) and Ricardo Coelho( glockenspiel and percussion) to find these songs and sail again\, taking them on a voyage to new spaces discovered by their remarkable musical extravaganza. \nMina is the harbor of an expanding family\, made up today of a professional team along side the five musicians\, to include sound engineer; Miguel Guerra\, graphic design; Sana Jammalieh\, media coordinators; Asmaa Azaizeh\, and translator; Farah Chamma. \nOn other spots of this plain\, Mina awaits a song to quay at its port\, where it can sail again… \nWe offer you the Mina (the port) from which you can join our next journey and turn it into an even richer experience …
