DESCRIPTION:Pattern Making of Evening Dresses Workshop\n Date: 10-20 December 2016\n Time: 4—8 pm\nTrainer: Ramez Naser\nVenue: GSC premises\nCourse fees: 200 JD\nTopics:\n1- Upgrade the sketches & drawings for a specific style to be understood technically.\n2— Upgrade the pattern making skills in order to be able to produce evening dresses.\n3— Produce a prototype for the first developed pattern related to the selected style.\n4- Upgrade participants skills in terms of needed knowledge of fabric types\, trims and accessories related to the selected style.\n5- Modification methods in case of incorrect pattern (wrong fitting).\n6— Mechanism of taking body measurements in case of special orders (irregular sizes).\n7- Practical exercises using mannequins in case of special orders.\n8- Execution of the selected style using the “Draping Method”.\n9— Selection of the efficient and best pattern to be followed to produce the selected style.\n10- Fabric cutting methodology related to the selected style.\n11— Assembly ofthe selected style after cutting.\n12~ Participants will be grouped together to work on producing styles for evening dresses.\n13- Final presentation & trainer’s evaluation/recommendations.\nTarget Audience:\n1- GSC students\n2- Fashion design students at Colleges and Universities\n3— Atelier owners\n4- Anyone interested\nFor more information please contact GSC at:\nTel: 065620056\nEmail: andaleeb@gsc-jo.com
