SUMMARY:Nakba Day Capoeira Roda for Palestine Amman
DESCRIPTION:Capoeira groups in Jordan will come together on Nakba Day in solidarity with Palestinians. This capoeira roda calls for Palestinian Liberation against Israeli Apartheid. \nThe 15th of May\, or ‘Day of Catastrophe’\, commemorates the massive Palestinian displacement after the Israeli Declaration of Independence in 1948. \nCapoeira was born out of slavery and as a way of fighting injustice and uniting people against oppression. For this reason\, we view the history and culture of capoeira as connected to the daily struggle of Palestinians.
