The Institut français de Jordanie is organizing an open air\, FREE summer concert. Discover the talents of a new generation of Jordanians bands before moving on the beats of the amazing Franco Lebanese Rayess Bek & La Mirza. \n6 PM – Beit Al -Ruwwad band: proposed by Great Amman municipality\n7 PM – Ertidad – إرتداد Alternative Arabic Rock from the Heart of Jordan\n8 PM – Luay Hijazeen لؤي حجازين\n9 PM – Love and Revenge – Rayess Bek: an Arab electro-pop evening revisiting a timeless golden era. \nRayess Bek’s remixes and La Mirza’s visuals are joined by the bass of Julien Perraudeau and the electric oud of Mehdi Haddab.\nA modern and virtual artifact\, a musical evening to be watched\, “Love & Revenge” is a tribute to the popular kitschy idols of an Arab world passionate in its dramas and melodramas. Presented in surprising and hybrid forms are the biggest success stories of the Middle East singing scene: those of the Iraki Kadhem Saher\, the Egyptian Souad Hosni\, or the Lebanese Sabah. As we travel through the musical extracts remixed by La Mirza\, we will encounter few renowned faces\, from the golden era of the Cairo’s Studios Misr ( Samia Gamal or Tahia Carioca) and by singing idols such as Leila Mourad\, Farid El Attrache\, his sister Asmahan or the young Oum Kalthoum. \n____________________________________________________________ \nVENDREDI 21 JUIN 2019\nParc – Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts\nENTREE GRATUITE \nCette année la fête de la musique se célèbre à la française. L’Institut français de Jordanie est heureux de vous présenter un concert GRATUIT en plein air. Découvrez les talents musicaux de la nouvelle génération jordanienne avant de vous laisser emporter par les sons électro – pop orientaux des franco-libanais Rayess Bek et La Mirza. \n6 PM – Beit Al -Ruwwad band: proposé par la Municipalité du Grand Amman\n7 PM – Ertidad – إرتداد\n8 PM – Luay Hijazeen لؤي حجازين\n9 PM – Love and Revenge – Rayess Bek \nLes remix de vieux tubes par Rayess Bek et d’extraits de films par La Mirza sont soutenus par les basses et nappes hypnotiques de Julien Perraudeau et par le oud électrique de Mehdi Haddab qui invoque sur des gammes orientales l’esprit de Jimi Hendrix ! \nArtefact moderne et virtuel\, soirée musicale à regarder\, « Love and Revenge » est aussi un hommage aux idoles populaires et argentées d’un monde arabe qui se présentait joyeux et candide dans ses badinages\, ardent et immodéré dans ses drames et ses mélodrames. On y retrouvera sous des formes inédites et hybrides les grands succès de la chanson du Moyen-Orient\, comme celles de l’Irakien Kadhem Saher\, de l’Égyptienne Souad Hosni\, ou de la Libanaise Sabah…Au fil des extraits remixés live par La Mirza\, on croisera également quelques visages connus\, issus de l’âge d’or des studios Misr du Caire (Samia Gamal ou Tahia Carioca) ou stars de la chanson comme Leila Mourad\, Farid El-Attrache\, sa soeur Asmahan ou la toute jeune Oum Kalthoum. \n———————————————————————————-\nNote that an after-party will be organized at Portico Resto-Pub with DJ SOTUSURA from 10:30 PM.
