DESCRIPTION:In Between Wars | ما بين الحروب\nEN | العربية \n“ما بين الحروب” : رحلة في أعماق الحياة اليومية للفلسطينيين\nهو معرض تفاعلي على شكل مجسّم متعدد الوسائط يهدف إلى إلقاء الضوء على التكلفة الباهظة التي يفرضها الاحتلال الإسرائيلي على الشعب الفلسطيني، والتي شهدتها فرق أطباء بلا حدود مباشرة عبر عملها الميداني. أقيم المعرض لأول مرة في باريس وقد لاقى نجاحاً واسعاً حيث وصل عدد الزائرين إلى أكثر من 3 آلاف زائر ويغطي المعرض الذي سيقام في غاليريا راس العين في عمان مساحة 60متر مربّع، وهو عبارة عن سلسلة من الغرف التي يستطيع الزائر التنقّل عبرها، حيث يسمع في كلّ غرفة التسجيلات والشهادات المسجّلة والصور الخاصة التي تجسّد المعاناة اليومية التي يعيشها الفلسطينيون تحت الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، والتي شهدها طاقم المنظمة ومرضاها ; كالاقتحامات وعمليات التوغل والإذلال وهدم المنازل والعنف الجسدي والنفسي والحصار والصعوبات اليومية وتأثيرها على الحياة اليومية للفلسطينيين. المعرض مفتوح يومياً للزائرين من الساعة العاشرة صباحاً وحتى السابعة مساءً بدءأ من السادس والعشرين من أيلول وحتى السادس من أكتوبر في مركز غاليريا راس العين. وسيكون المعرض مفتوح أيضاً أيام الجمعة والسبت والدخول مجاني. وبعد انتهاء عرض المعرض في العاصمة الأردنية عمان سوف يستأنف المعرض جولته في المنطقة العربية ليعرض في كل من الإمارات العربية ولبنان في غضون الشهور القادمة.\nتعمل أطباء بلا حدود في فلسطين منذ أواخر الثمانينيات، وتعمل جاهدة منذ ذلك الوقت على تضميد الجراح الجسدية والنفسية للفلسطينيين في قطاع غزة والضفة الغربية. فعلى اعتبارهم شهوداً مباشرين على وحشية الاحتلال، عاين أعضاء هذه الفرق عن كثب الأعراض الناجمة عن نفس الأسباب، واختبروا حالة العجز عن كسر الدوامة اللامتناهية من العنف والقمع؛ معرض”ما بين الحروب” هو محاولة للتعبير عن رفض المساهمة في إضفاء صفة الاعتيادي والمألوف على شيء لا يمكن القبول به. \nIn between Wars: An Immersive Journey into Palestinian Daily Life\n“In Between Wars” is a multimedia installation aims at highlighting the humanitarian cost of the Israeli occupation in Palestine as witnessed by MSF teams and patients in Palestine.\nIt was held in Paris for the first time and has had a huge success reached to over 3000 visitors. Covering a space of sixty square meters\, IN BETWEEN WARS is a succession of rooms for visitors to walk through. Each features its own audio recordings\, filmed testimonies and photos to re-create the everyday suffering of Palestinians living under occupation. Each room evokes the multiple forms of violence manifest in the occupation – segregation\, incursions\, raids\, disappearances\, humiliation\, arbitrary arrest\, harassment\, demolishing of homes\, physical violence\, blockade\, state of siege\, shortages\, hardship\, disability – and their impact on everyday life.\nThe exhibition is open daily from 10:00am-7pm starting 26th of September – 6th of October in the Center of Galleria Ras Al-Ain. It will be open on Fridays and Saturdays. The entry is free of charge to all visitors.\nAfter Amman\, the exhibition will tour the region and its planned to be held in the UAE and Lebanon in the next coming months. \nSince the end of the 1980s Médecins Sans Frontières teams have been attempting to tend to the physical and psychological wounds of Palestinians living in Gaza and the West Bank. Eyewitnesses to the brutality of the occupation\, time and time again the teams see people suffering from the same symptoms induced by the same causes and their powerlessness to put a stop to a never-ending cycle of violence and repression. IN BETWEEN WARS gives expression to the refusal to play a part in condoning the unacceptable.
