SUMMARY:History & Modernity- Shanghai Historical Images Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:In the presence of the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China\, the Shanghai Museum of History\, in association with the Shanghai International Culture Association\, presents a rare insight to the history of Shanghai with this exhibition of old and new photographs from its collection\, showing at Jacaranda Images in May. \nThe photographic exhibition focuses on urban scenes and lifestyle of Shanghai and reflects the changes and developments of the city through old and new photographs in a hope to aid Jordanian visitors to a broader knowledge of Shanghai and China. \nThere’s a long history of cordial relations between China and Jordan with each contributing greatly to the history of human civilization with the culture and history they each possess. Coinciding with the celebration of 40 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries and with a new historical starting point of strategic relations\, building on the joint effort in creating “One Belt\, One Road” we hope to build a bridge of friendship and a road of culture between China and Jordan through reinforcing cultural exchange and cooperation. \nDuring the opening there will be a demonstration of the ancient and traditional art of paper cutting\, which symbolizes luck and happiness and clay sculptures\, by two of Shanghai’s foremost craftspeople. \nPlease join us for the opening ceremony Thursday 18 May 2017 at 6pm Exhibition continues till May 24 \nفي حضوركريم من سعادة سفير جمهورية الصين الشعبية ومتحف شنغهاي للتاريخ، وبالتعاون مع جمعية شنغهاي الدولية للثقافة نقدم نظرة نادرة لتاريخ شنغهاي في هذا المعرض من الصور القديمة والجديدة من مجموعة متحف شنغهاي للتاريخ، والتي ستعرض في جاكاراندا جاليري. \nيركز معرض الصور الفوتوغرافية على المشهد الحضري والثقافة الإنسانية لمدينة شانغهاي ويعكس تغيرات وتطورات هذه المدينة عبر صورها القديمة والجديدة\, آملين أن يساعد الزوار والمشاهدين الأردنيين في معرفة أوسع لشانغهاي والصين.\nهناك تاريخ طويل من العلاقات الودية بين الصين والأردن، فقد قدم شعبا البلدين بما لديهما من تاريخ عريق وثقافة رائعة مساهمات هامة لتاريخ الحضارة البشرية و بالتزامن مع احتفال البلدين بمرور أربعين عاما على إنشاء العلاقات الدبلوماسية\nبين البلدين ومع نقطة انطلاق تاريخية جديدة للعلاقات الاستراتيجية، وبناء على الجهد المشترك لخلق “الحزام والطريق”، نأمل أن نبني جسرا للصداقة وطريقا من الثقافة بين الصين والأردن من خلال تعزيز التبادل والتعاون الثقافي. \nسيتضمن الإفتتاح عرض توضيحي لأحد الفنون التقليدية لقص الورق التي تمثل الحظ والسعادة، وأيضا عرض لفن تشكيل التماثيل الطينية من قبل اثنين من أهم الحرفيين في شنغهاي. \nيدعوكم جاليري جاكارندا لحضور حفل الإفتتاح وذلك يوم الخميس 18 آيار الساعة السادسة مساءا، ويستمر المعرض حتى 24 آيار 2017
