Campus’ performance is a passionate and ironic exploration of the role of the jazz singer playing with the notes and the different colors of the music like a clown. Inspired by characters of Commedia dell’ Arte\, Theatre of the absurd\, Sardinian culture and in particular by some extraordinary figures such as Dario Fo\, Franca Rame\, Pina Bausch\, Federico Fellini\, Samuel Beckett\, Augusto Boal\, Maria Carta.\nThe music is written by Steve Lodder and Dudley Phillips with lyrics by Filomena Campus and a poem by Italian acclaimed writer Stefano Benni.\nThe title refers to the motivation for the Nobel Prize in Literature 1997 that was awarded to Dario Fo “who emulates the jesters of the Middle Ages in scourging authority and upholding the dignity of the downtrodden”. Jester of Jazz has toured internationally and has received excellent reviews in UK\, Italy and Germany.\nFilomena Campus\, an internationally renowned and award winning Sardinian jazz vocalist/lyricist\, theatre director and university lecturer\, Filomena Campus lives in London.\nIn 2010 Filomena founded the ‘Filomena Campus Quartet’ with long time collaborators Steve Lodder (piano) and Dudley Phillips (double bass)\, and Rod Youngs (drums)\nرباعي فيلومينا كامبوس (ايطاليا)\nمهرج الجاز أو Jester of Jazz هو اسم المشروع الموسيقي الذي سوف يقدمه رباعي فيلومينا كامبوس، والمشورع هو مزيج أنيق من الجاز النقي غزته السريالية في صور مسرحية وقصائد قصيرة. أداء كاموبس هو استكشاف عاطفي وسخرية من دور مغني موسيقى الجاز وقدرته على اللعب بالنوط الموسيقية والألوان المختلفة للموسيقى كمهرج. مستوحاة من شخصيات Commedia dell’ Arte، مسرح عبثي، ومن الثقافة السردينية وخاصة من قبل بعض الشخصيات غير عادية مثل: داريو فو، فرانكا رامي، وبينا بوش، وفيديريو فيلينيني، وسامويل باكيت، وأوغوستو بول، وماريا كارتا\nالموسيقى كتبها كل من ستيف لودرودودلي فيليبس، كلمات فيلومينا كامبوس، وقصيدة الكاتب الإيطالي الشهير ستيفانو بني\nعنوان المشروع يشير إلى الدافع لجائزة نوبل في الأدب 1997 التي منحت لداريو فو، الذي يحاكي مهرجي العصور الوسطى في جلد اصحاب السلطة والرفع من كرامة المدمرين. العرض الموسيقي قام موسيقية عديدة على الصعيد الدولي، وتلقى تقييما ممتازا في المملكة المتحدة وإيطاليا وألمانيا\nفيلومينا كامبوس المشهورة عالميا والحائزة على جائزة الجاز السارديني للغناء والتأليف و مديرة مسرح وأستاذة جامعية. حيث أسست فرقة “رباعي فيلومينا كامبوس” عام 2010، بالتعاون مع شركائها الموسيقيين ستيف لودر (بيانو)، ودودلي فيليبس (كونترا باص)، ورود يونغ (درامز). حيث أن جميعهم مقيمون في لندن حاليا\nSHISHANI & the NAMIBIAN TALES – Netherlands\nhttp://shishani.nl/\nMany worlds flow smoothly together in the unconventional music of Shishani & the Namibian Tales. The group was founded by percussionist Sjahin During in Amsterdam\, the Netherlands 2015. Vocalist\, songwriter and guitarist Shishani combines the little known but rich tradition of her native Namibia with such western influences as soul and jazz. Debby Korfmacher may have been born in Germany\, but she went mad about the sound of the African mbira (thumb piano) and then took up the kora (lute-bridge-harp). Cellist Bence Huszar hails from a renowned family of Hungarian musicians but explores the sonic potential of his instrument far beyond traditional boundaries. His pulsating\, driving improvisations also land him a part-time job in the rhythm section alongside percussionist Sjahin During. During can draw on a wealth of experience in the widest variety of traditions\, from Afro-Cuban via Turkish to Indian and jazz for his dynamic style of playing.\nTraditional music from Namibia and other African regions forms the starting point for Shishani’s compositions. She sings her lyrics both in English and Oshiwambo\, her mother’s native tongue.\nLine-up: Shishani (na/be) – vocals & guitar\, Bence Huszar (hu) – cello\, Debby Korfmacher (de/nl) – mbira\, kora\, voice\, and Sjahin During (tr/nl) – percussion set\nشيشاني وحكايات ناميبية (هولندا)\nالعديد من العوالم تتدفق بسلاسة معا في الموسيقى غير التقليدية لفرقة “شيشاني وحكايات ناميبية”، حيث تأسست الفرقة من قبل عازف الإيقاع “شاهين ديورينج” في امستردام، هولندا عام 2015. أما “شيشاني” فهي مغنية، ملحنة، وكاتبة الكلمات وعازفة جيتار، تجمع ما بين التقليد الناميبي الأصلي ذو الشهرة القليلة ولكن الغنية مع التأثيرات الغربية مثل موسيقى السول والجاز\n“ديبي كورفماشر” مع أنها ولدت في المانيا الا انها تولعت بصوت آلة أفريقية اسمها “المبيرا الافريقية ومن ثم احترفت على آلة الكورة. أما عازف التشيلو “بينس هوسزار” فهو ينحدر من عائلة هنغارية معروفة بالموسيقيين، ولكنه يكتشف القدرات الصوتية الكامنة لآلته ابعد من الحدود التقليدية، حيث ارتجالاته النباضة والقيادية جعلت له مكانا بجانب عازف الايقاع “شاهين ديورينج”والذي يرتكز بدوره على كم من الخبرات الواسعة في مجال الايقاعات التقليدية، من الأفرو- الكوبية عبر التركية إلى الهندية والجاز في أسلوبه الديناميكي في العزف\nوتشكل الموسيقى التقليدية من ناميبيا والمناطق الأفريقية الأخرى نقطة البداية لمؤلفات “شيشاني”، فهي تغني باللغة النجليزية ولغة الأوشيوامبو، فهي لغتها الأم\nو تتكون الفرقة من: شيشاني – غناء/جيتار (ناميبيا/ بلجيكا)، بينس هوسزار – تشيلو (هنجاريا)، ديبي كورفماشر (ألمانيا/هولندا)، شاهين ديورينج (تركيا/هولندا)\nSupported from the European Union and EUNIC Jordan
