DESCRIPTION:Film Screening: Farid @ The Royal Cultual Center\n عرض فيلم: فريد @ المركز الثقافي الملكي\nOn Wednesday\, December 7th\, 2016 – at 4 PM – 5 PM\nIn 1990 Israeli Occupation Authorities deported Farid Dhamrah from Palestine. He arrived to Switzerland in late 1999.\nThis movie was filmed between the years\n2009 and 2013 in Zurich\, Amman and Gaza and Al Hussein Palestinian Refugee Camps in Jordan.\nThe film cross places and perspectives from Farid’s own views. Through his experiences in Zurich\, Palestine\, Baghdad and Amman Farid reflects on the conceptual meaning of displacement. Farid does not spare his sharp views on the local Arab communities he belongs to or towards the refugees and migrants integration in Europe.\nFarid\, in this docudrama takes us from the very private and personal experiences and emotions to wider issues that are impacting our lives like never before.\nTo date Farid lives in Zurich with temporary residency.
