DESCRIPTION:Exposición de pintura abstracta de la artista Ivana Panizzi.\nIvana Panizzi nace en Poços de Caldas\, Minas Gerais\, Brasil. Estudia artes plásticas en el Instituto Superior de Arte en La Habana\, Cuba\, donde también estudia Cine y Televisión. Ha participado en el “Proyecto Nueva York 1995” organizado por la Fundación Parque Lage (Rio de Janeiro). Sus obras están expuestas en numerosas galerías\, museos y colecciones privadas en Brasil y en colecciones privadas en Argentina\, Bélgica\, Bolivia\, Cuba\, Estados Unidos\, Irlanda\, Italia\, Mozambique\, África del Sur y Japón. Su obra se caracteriza por la investigación y el reciclaje de materiales no convencionales\, ya sea en sus pinturas o en distintos objetos e instalaciones. Panizzi ha impartido clases de diseño 3-D en el Maryland College de Arte y Diseño en 2001. Durante su residencia en África del Sur ha realizado proyectos de reciclaje en colegios públicos y en comunidades desfavorecidas.\nLa exposición permanecerá hasta el 20 de noviembre. \nhttp://aman.cervantes.es/FichasCultura/Ficha110038_05_2.htm \nPainting exhibition by Brazilian artist Ivana Panizzi.\nIvana Panizzi was born in Poços de Caldas\, Minas Gerais State\, Brazil. She graduated in Plastic Arts at the Instituto Superior de Arte in Havana\, Cuba\, where she also studied Cinema and Television. She participated in the “New York Project 1995\,” organized by the Parque Lage Foundation (Rio de Janeiro). Her artworks can be found in private collections\, galleries and museums in Brazil and in private collections in Argentina\, Belgium\, Bolivia\, Cuba\, United States\, Ireland\, Italy\, Mozambique\, South Africa\, and Japan. Her work is characterized by researching and recycling of non-conventional materials\, either on her paintings or on her objects and installations. She taught 3-D Design at the Maryland College of Art and Design in 2001. During her residence in Southern Africa (South Africa and Mozambique) for more than five years\, she carried out recycling projects in public schools and less-favored communities.\nThe exhibition will run through the 20th of November 2016.
