DESCRIPTION:Exhibition by Patrick Mouzawak\, Alaa’ Bani Yassin\, Momen Malkawi @ Fann wa Chai\nPart of the Image Festival # 6\, Join us for the opening exhibition of Photographers:\nPatrick Mouzawak\nPatrick Mouzawak is a photographer currently living in beirut\, Lebanon. he has exhibited in several galleries across the country and has received international recognition and awards for his photography. When he’s not traveling and on the streets with his camera he is active among the integration efforts of the lebanese art scene an uno cial collaboration between photography\, music\, visual art\, performance by recording through image and film.\nIn memory with\nA series of reconstructed realities of friends and family members living in Europe\, based on stories they have shared through correspondence such as Skype sessions\, emails and text messages. The data was used to help reconstruct a personal perception of each person\, where they are and how they have adapted to their new environment.\nباتريك مزّوق\nباتريك مزوق هو مصور يقيم حاليا في بيروت، لبنان. عرض أعماله في عدة صالات عرض عبر البلاد ونال التقدير والجوائز الدولية على أعماله المصّورة. عندما لا يمضى وقته في السفر أو في الشوارع حاملا كاميرته، نجده ناشط في جهود الاندماج الفني في الساحة الفنية اللبنانّية، وهو تعاون غير رسمّي بين التصوير،الموسيقى، الفنون البصرّية وفّن الاداء من خلال تسجيلها عبر الصور والافلام\nتخليد للذكرى\nهي سلسلة من الاحداث والوقائع الُمعاد تجسيدها الت يتتمحور حول الاصدقاء وأفراد العائلة الذين يقيمون في أوروبا، استنادا إلى قصص تشاطروها من خلال المراسلة على غرارمحادثات سكايب، الرسائل الالكترونّية والرسائل النّصية.اسُتخدمت البيانات لاعادة تجسيد وجهة نظر شخصية لكل شخص، أين هم الان وكيف تكيفوا مع بيئتهم الجديدة\nAlaa Bani Yaseen\nAs a daughter of father from a village in Irbid and a mother of Palestinian origins\, this mixture influenced me in creating my cultural identity. I was born in December 1992. I dedicated myself to photography after receiving my bachelor’s degree in media studies. I worked as a photography instructor for girls in 2016\, and my photographs were exhibited in a cultural space in Irbid.\nDocumenting what is old in my society became my passion.\nHouse\, 1922\nA house that smells of authenticity and heritage\, in which there is a room\, a kitchen\, a mattress\, and an old woman with a rosary\, safeguarding our identity with a gold tooth and a straw griddle inherited from her mother.\nآلاء بني ياسين\nابنة لاب من قرى إربد وأم من أصول فلسطينية، المزيج الذي كان له الاثر في صناعة هويتي الثقافية. من مواليد ديسيمبر 1992. تفرغت للتصوير بعد حصولي على درجة البكالوريوس في الاعلام. عملت مدربة تصوير ليافعات في عام 2016 وتم عرض صوري في أحد البيوت\nالثقافية في إربد. هاجسي توثيق ما هو قديم في مجتمعي\nبيت، 1922\nبيت تفوح منه رائحة الاصالة والتراث، فيه غرفة ومطبخ ومد فراش، لعبة طاولة وامرأة مسنة بيدها سبحة. حافظت على هويتنا بسنها الذهب لسدر القش الذي ورثته عن والدتها\nMomen Malkawi\nI always used my camera to try and break barriers between people. I was always interested in humans relationship to their society\, city and social incubator. In trying to know more stories about the residents of my country\, I was and still am a member of a photography team called ‘Humans of Amman’. I did various documentary photography projects around the city\, capturing what happening. Documentary photography predominates the nature of my subjects\, despite my reverence to all art forms.\nDowntown\nDowntown is the seed that Irbid grew from; I only feel that I belong there. This is probably what made me look for the identity of my city in the first place\, starting from downtown. Irbid lacks the simplest forms of public spaces that unite its citizens at the end of each working day\, and the cafe substitutes as their second home\, where its patrons retrieve back at night what they have lost during the day. Sun-burnt faces appear through shisha smoke\, and the voice of Umm Kulthum rises. This is the heart of the city.\nمؤمن ملكاوي\nلطالما استخدمت الكاميرا لكسر الحواجز بين الناس، دائم ما كنت مهتم بعلاقة ا نسان بمجتمعه و مدينته و حاضنته الاجتماعية. محاولا معرفة المزيد عن قصص قاطني بلدي. كنت وما زلت عضو في فريق مصورين “ناس عمان“. وثقت العديد من المشاريع التصويرية حول المدينة وما يدور في كنفها من أحداث، يغلب طابع التصوير الوثائقي على مواضيعي رغم اهتمامي في كافة أشكال الفنون\nوسط المدينة\nوسط المدينة هو البذرة التي نمت منها مدينة إربد، لا أشعر بالانتماء إلا فيه، لعل هذا ما دفعني منذ البداية للبحث عن هوية مدينتي ابتدا ًء من وسط البلد. تخلو المدينة من أبسط أشكال الاهتمام بالمساحات العامة المخصصة للم شمل مواطنيها بعد نهاية كل نهار عمل، فيحتل المقهى مكانة البيت الثاني حيث يسرد رواده ما نزف من طاقتهم خلال النهار. من بين دخان النارجيلة تلوح وجوه كويت بأشعة الشمس ويعلو صوت السيدة أم كلثوم، فهنا قلب المدينة
