DESCRIPTION:Critical Forum: Introduction to Feminism @ Global Platform Jordan\nMonday\, December 5 at 5:30 PM – 8 PM\nAs part of the global campaign 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence\, we would like to invite you to an evening with Critical Forum – Introduction to Feminism.\nWhen and where: Monday the 5th of Dec. from 5:30pm – 8pm at Global Platform in Jabal Al-weibdeh.\n“Introduction to Feminism” is a workshop and discussion session\, which will introduce you to the key concepts within Feminism and different waves of Feminism. During the workshop we will pose and address questions such as:\nWhat is Feminism? Why is it important to understand the background and varieties of Feminism? Is Feminism still relevant in today’s society? In Jordan?\nThe workshop will be conducted in a participatory manner\, meaning that it will be build on yours experiences\, perspectives and ideas. Please note that the workshop will be held in English.\nThis workshop and discussion session is part of a new concept at the Global Platform called Critical Forum. Critical Forum is a time for sharing knowledge and point of views on a specific topic.
