Buildings and highways were being constructed at a feverish pace\, and excitement filled the air. \nNovelist Ryunosuke Chagawa is married to Hiromi\, and the two share a happy life with teenage boy Junnosuke. Hiromi\, who runs a restaurant\, is pregnant and the family prepares to welcome a new addition to their household. Mutsuko\, who works at Suzuki Auto\, puts on makeup every morning and steps out of her home\, all so she can “happen to” run into and say hello to the young doctor\, she is in love with. \n“Always Sunset on Third Street” follows the residents of a neighborhood located in the shadow of Tokyo Tower\, as they struggle amidst all the change and commotion\, each of them holding tight to a dream for the future. \nThe film has won the Best Supporting Actor award at the 37th Hochi Film Awards in Japan\, 2012. It has participated in the 15th edition of Shanghai International Film Festival and Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival at its 16th edition in 2012. \nIt’s the third film in the Sunset on Third Street series that won the Best Film at the Japan Academy Prize in 2005.

DESCRIPTION:A l’occasion du Mois de la Francophonie\, l’Ambassade du Maroc en Jordanie et l’Institut français de Jordanie vous invitent au film “Les petits bonheurs” – un film gratuit en arabe sous-titré en anglais \nLe film nous plonge dans le Maroc des années 50. A la mort de son père\, Noufissa s’installe avec sa mère chez Lalla Amina\, femme d’un grand dignitaire de la médina de Tétouan. Elle y rencontre Fetouma\, la petite fille de Lalla Amina. Une amitié unique nait entre les deux filles de 17 ans. Alors que Fetouma a obtenu de Noufissa la promesse de ne jamais la quitter\, elle découvre que celle-ci lui cache ses récentes fiançailles. \nفي إطار “شهر الفرنكوفونية”، يسر السفارة المغربية في الأردن والمعهد الفرنسي في الأردن دعوتكم إلى فيلم « أفراح صغيرة » – فيلم مجاني باللغة العربية مترجم للإنجليزية. \nخلال فترة الخمسينات من القرن العشرين في مدينة تطوان المغربية، تنشأ علاقة صداقة وثيقة بين فتاتين، واحدة منهما هي ابنة سيدة تقوم بالغناء ضمن جوقة موسيقية نسائية، وتدخلنا علاقة الصداقة تلك إلى داخل المجتمع المحافظ في تلك الفترة. يتميز بتداخل الثقافات وأنماط العيش، بحكم موقع هذه الحاضرة الجغرافي بشمال المغرب، وتلك ميزة بوأتها مرتبة حولتها عبر مرّ التاريخ لأن تكون ملتقى للتمازج والتعايش بين الأجناس والثقافات والحضارات، رغم الطابع المحافظ الذي تعكسه ذهنية سكانها. \nIn the framework of the “Francophonie Month”\, the Embassy of Morocco in Jordan and the French Institute of Jordan are pleased to invite you to the film: “Les petits bonheurs” – a free screening in Arabic with English subtitles \nThe film takes us to Morocco in the fifties.
