SUMMARY:Blue Suits You
DESCRIPTION:Blue Suits You is a campaign aimed to increase medical students’ academic\nbackground and clinical experience regarding colon cancer; the most common\ncancer amongst men and second most common cancer amongst women in\nJordan. The campaign involves both theoretical and practical steps\, including a\nseminar about the topic and visits to the clinic to learn diagnosing\, screening\,\nstaging\, and treating colon cancer. \nColon cancer is the second most common cancer in both genders combined in\nJordan\, yet it commonly goes undiagnosed until it reaches the third or fourth stage;\nonce it has spread through lymphatic vessels or blood vessels to other parts of the\nbody. As medical students\, it is our duty to be well-rounded and experienced\nregarding this critical topic in order to decrease incidences of death caused by an\neasily treatable and easily preventable disease; the objective this campaign aims\nto accomplish. \n\n“Blue suits you”\nهي حملة تهدُف إلى زيادة التوعيّة الطبيّة وتعزيز خلفيّة الطلاب الأكاديميّة والسريريّة حول سرطان القولون، السرطان\nالأكثر انتشاراً بين الذكور والثاني أكثر انتشاراً بين الإناث في الأردن. \nالحملة تتضمّن كلا الجانبين، العملي والنظري، من بينهما “سيمنار” عن الموضوع وزيارات للعيادة لتعلّم التشخيص،\nالفحص، وعلاج سرطان القولون. \nسرطان القولون هو ثاني أكثر سرطان انتشاراً بين كلا الجنسين مجتَمِعين في الأردن، رغم ذلك، لا يتمّ تشخيصه الا\nحتى يصل إلى مرحلته الثالثة أو الرابعة؛ لحظة انتشاره عبر الأوعية الليمفاويّة أو الدمويّة إلى الأجزاء الأخرى من\nالجسم. \nكطلاب طبّ، لا بدّ لنا أن نحيط علماً بهذا الموضوع المهم، كي نقلّل نسبة الوفيّات في الحالات التي يمكن علاجها\nوالوقاية منها، وهو الهدف المرجوّ من هذه الحملة
